    Rob,
I’m new here and was curious on who your prefered manufacturers are; as well as if you think a it would be better to get an Arsenal or DDI. Are there particular models you’d recommend?

Honestly, from what i have seen, Definitive Arms out of FL is the best value for money spend.

Man, that underfolder to fixed stock converter from Definitive Arms was rock solid. And the same crew did make an AK-9. Must be some good thinking going on at DA.

I used to be really excited about the new “Locally-Sourced” AK from DDI. I have no doubts they will be solid, but I also don’t doubt they won’t bring anything new to the table in terms of performance.

    Still kinda want one, though.

I’m looking to get a new ak. I currently have a npap but I want something of better quality. I live in California so my opinions are limited. I’ve been looking at the arsenal sam7r are these rifle with the extra cash Or am I better off with a cheaper option. I noticed you telling people the dakm is best for money but I can’t find a new one for sale. Thank you for your hard work we all appreciate it!

    Rob,
Atlantic has a really good looking Polish AK from Petronov Arms. It’s kind of pricey (more than the DDI) but looks amazing. Are they a high quality AK and worth the money? I’ve never heard of them before. They also have one from Lee Armory around the same price that looks good. How about Lee? Thanks!

I don’t have any experience with those two.

    Rob Ski,
I’m relatively new to the AK platform however not new to firearms in general. I picked up a folding stock AMD 65 from classicfirearms awhile ago for $499. I knew what I was getting and what to expect for that price point. I’m wondering if you have any experience with this rifle or if you would do a review of it. Overall I’m satisfied with it. The rear sights on mine are canted pretty good but I just adjusted the front sight and it shoots point of aim. I haven’t had any problems and I’m around 500 rounds into it. Again just wondering if you would do a torture test on one as a basic super inexpensive AK. Thanks and keep up the good work, I’ve learned a ton from your videos!
