I just recieved my GF3 and unfortunately I am unable to put any muzzle device on it due to the threads being to fat apparently… Did you encounter this issue with yours or have heard about this? I’d really appreciate some input, this really sucks!

Only the stock slant brake is what fits.

        I had no problem installing BD2: https://www.shop.akoperatorsunionlocal4774.com/BD2-AK47-Muzzle-Brake-BD2-AK.htm
In all videos i used BD2 on it.

Hey Rob. I just got the PSA GF3, my first AK. I bought the RS regulate 303 mount right away. I got it all today and the mount doesn’t even come close to fitting on the side mount. Did the RS regulate fit in your PSA? If so, I’m just trying to figure out which piece might be out of spec. Thanks for any help!

Did you adjust the screw for tension? On mine it had to be almost all the way down.

Just picked one of these up. First AK I’ve purchased. Figured I would try out a cheap one before sinking the money into a “real” AK.

Hey Rob, I just bought myself my first AK, the PSAK-47 GF3 in brown. I am wanting to purchase the Fighter AK47 Muzzle Brake from you and wanting to make sure it’ll fit on there without too much complication? Can I buy the brake and simply swap it out with my standard slant brake, no shim or washer needed? Thanks for the help friend!

Hi Gary, yep, no problems at all but if you are looking for recoil reduction, i would roll with BD2 instead: https://www.shop.akoperatorsunionlocal4774.com/searchquick-submit.sc?keywords=bd2
Fighter is upgrade from slant brake, but BD2 is better in recoil department.

I need some advice…I’m considering the Galil Ace pistol vs Palmetto State Armory AK pistol for home defense/truck gun. Is the Galil worth the extra cash(double the price)?

Galil ACE is like Cadillac man. So you have Cady vs Chevy situation on hands. If money isn’t issue, go with ACE.

Picked up a gf3 recently and I wanted to get the optic combo from you guys listed above but am unsure what is considered an early gf3. Mine is ser ak0038xx. Does anyone know what mount I can use for sure? When did psa change rail specs. I assume mine is pretty early and I hope there aren’t any issues.

I would like the master mount since it’s the cheapest but I dont want to buy anything and have it not even fit.

If it becomes a pain in the ass I might just run a holosun on my railed handguard hahaha

Any advice would be appreciated and I’d like to support you. Thanks for being bad ass

HI James, looks like you have early SN. I would say RS Regulate 303 or 302 will work.

I lost fire pin retaining pin, the tooth pick really works for quick fix- any suggestions on a specific permanent replacement? Will you get replacement parts or repair kits in stock?

Any regular AKM retainer pin will work. Also, check with PA, they should mail you one man…

The serial on my GF3 is AKB0006XX, would the RS Regulate 303 work with it? Having trouble finding any information about a change in specs on this. Thanks in advance.

Hey Rob. I am looking into buying a mount for my new psa gf3. It was shortly after you did your final test on the gf3. Do you have any updated information on what mount I should use for it? I’ve seen notes the 302 won’t work. Any good thoughts on MI rail that psa offers on they’re website?Thank you so much for your input. Love the videos!

Does the GF3 truly have forged parts like the front trunnion?

That’s what they (PSA) say. It does look like forging. Usually casting is easy to recognize.

        Hi Rob,
        I have a gf3 serial # AKB0066xx
Would the master mount work or is this an early model rifle? Thank you for all the great info over the years!

I think you will be safer to go with RS Regulate Mount. RS303, 302 and 301 lower will work.
