5.56×45 AK from Serbia!

20/01/30 at 9.07am   /   by Rob Ski   /   12 Comments

Zastava USA keeps delivering on their promises. When they said that they are going to bring back 5.56×45 AKs back into the USA, I wasn’t really sure how soon this will happen. Boom, as of right now you can buy Z85, their pistol size 5.56×45 AK. Full size, known as M90NP in the past, are scheduled to arrive later this year too!

Nice video. Stormwerkz.com has a rail mount that can be attached to the cover (some drilling required). I used this for a while. It obscures the FS when the optic is attached.
They also have a mount base for Fastfire and Venom, which also requires some drilling, that DOES allow continued use of the iron sights even with the optics installed. I switched to that one on an ZPAP Z92 and love it.

Definitely will be looking for the Atlantic contest! Thanks and regards.

Hi Rob, is this going to be an Atlantic Firearms exclusive or will it be sold by other retailers as well? Will standard M92 furniture and accessories also fit it? Thanks

Hi Rob great videos and info on the AK platform. I have a Saiga M3 EXP 01 556/223 REM. I want to zero it for 250m…. But I can’t find any metric information. The range I have access to is only 30 m.

Zero it from 25 meters – you will be on target up to 300m.

Must the sight (slider) be set for 300m?

There is no slider on this AK, it is flip flop sight 200 / 400.

Don’t have that ammo. I used 55gr from wolf (golden) and they worked great.

Rob, I ya e heads Zastava is planning on handling their support here in the states from now on. Does this mean the Zastava 5.56 mags will be available or will I still have to get a second mortgage to be able to afford a nice stash of these mags? Also are there any companies out there possibly making 5.45 krink style pistols in 2020?

Yes, they said they are already importing 5.56 mags. PSA should be making krink style pistol soon!
