I just received my PSAK-47e this week and had some Gibbs magazines on hand. Come to find out they do not fit. Other than the PMAG that came with it, which polymer mags are a good reliable fit?

You could go for circle10 mags. Expensive tho…PMAG gen3 is cheaper and works man…

Hey Rob Ski, thank you for all of the outstanding work you and your team put into your videos. As well, one veteran to another, thank you for your years of service.

Recently, I’ve had The Misfortune of having my AK stolen, May those bastards rot! But now it’s time to rebuild my collection but I’m at a Crossroads, the Galil Ace, or PSA AKE AK. All of my weapons serve an exact function because I don’t have the luxury of getting variations of the same thing. With that said I tend to purchase the best (within reason) for the money. I’ve been in love with the Galil Ace because of its consistent shot groups. It seems also that it is as close to the AR platform without touching the ARs muddy water. However, The PSA AKE AK is also performing with decent shot groups And is rumored to be less than $500. Long-term, is one of these rifles better than the other and OR, more worth their cost? Thank you so much for your time, brother! Looking forward to your next video. In the meantime keep pumping that led down range.

I don’t know if you did a review on PSAK-47 GF3, but is it as good as the AK-E or should I wait for the AK-E to be back in stock to get it?

I like AKE better. It’s just step up from G3.

I bought one of these when they first came out am just getting around to upgrading this and am looking for some help. Which KNS piston did you use in this build? I cannot find the info anywhere else, and would like to make sure I am ordering the right one. I plan to get a Wolverine in process and would like this ready to go.

Hi Aaron, i don’t run KNS on my AKE – no need for it. I’m using OSS Helix QD 762 can. Anyway, check this chart, take measurements and see which one is the closes one https://www.akoperatorsunionlocal4774.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Mod-2-Piston-Product-Line-Drawing-1-scaled.png

Has PSA stopped producing the AKE rifles. I’ve been waiting for 2 months and have yet to see one even listed for sale. It’s always not available. I’ve left several of those “inform me when it’s available” notices. Heard nothing. I wonder if they are having trouble getting FN barrels?

No, they just sell them out on the spot…

Hey Rob, I saw on RS Regulate’s site that the rail you have on that AKE will not fit PSA rifles due to PSA’s lower handguard retainer. What did you do to get it to fit on the AKE, if anything, or are RS Regulate’s product notes out of date? I have a GF5 that I’d like to put one on, but don’t want to waste my money on something that may not fit.

Hi Erik, actually they posted like 2 months ago tutorial on their IG feed – they are showing what part has to be reprofile to make it fit – so check their IG feed and look for picture of that little bracket – they marked spots on it to file.

Do you think the PSA custom FNH AK barrel will fit standard Romanian AKM I’ve seen people say that you have to use a 45 degree gas block but the port seems to be drilled at 90

I honestly don’t know. I don’t have barrel alone in my hands to check out…please post your findings here if you will manage to get this done.

Is THIS (https://palmettostatearmory.com/psak-47-gf5-e-with-alg-trigger-and-toolcraft-trunnion-and-bolt-smoke-51655113227.html) the most current iteration of the PSA AKE AK47? Or is this something different. Seems very very similar. I trust Rob’s review/opinion, but if this firearm isn’t the same as what he reviewed, can I buy with confidence?

Hi Darin, I’m lost with all those new models PSA is dropping. At this point it is hard to track which version is for what…and what features it has…

When attaching your OSS muzzle brake on the AKE did you use rocksett and crank the muzzle brake as hard as you could to get it set? I worry the self tightening of the silencer and the fact that muzzle device is not able to be pinned in place concerns me. Any help would be appreciated.
