AK 47 / AK 74 Rail System – X47 from TDi Arms – Review

14/07/30 at 3.51pm   /   by Rob Ski   /   26 Comments

We were testing lately AK 47 / AK 74 Rail System – X47 from Tdi Arms.  Israelis did really good job when designing it. X47 is battlefield proven system, combat tested by IDF and many Russian Spetsnaz operators…It is worth to note, that this system could be installed without top rail, when mixing with standard gas tube hand guard and etc. By far, it is one of the most flexible rail sets on the market. TDi Arms X47 fits on majority of milled and stamped receivers, without any modifications…Below is our “first take” video review.
You can get these rails from Circle10AK.

Can you tell me if the x47 rail system will work with a SLR 104fr? I was wondering
If the left side folding stock would be able to close with this installed. Thanks

It should work. X47 could be installed on milled and stamped receivers. It is very smart and simple design.
@folding stock, i’m not sure about that one i will have to check…

Will this work on the c39v2 with the zukov-s folding stock? Or will it be a problem in removing the dust cover?

I am considering picking up the VEPR FM Ak47-11 and wanting to put this rail on it. I know that they have a thicker RPK style receiver, will the x47 still be fully compatible with it?

No, it will not work. But TDI has rail coming especially for Vepr FM!
