Oh, man, I think I need one of these
BTW, Arms of America is also selling them.

That is correct, they all run together with AF on this.
Do you know if the bolt and carrier are also forged?
Brian, I cant say for sure, but I just got one and the parts look and feel forged to me. They are certainly milled. After 200 rounds, admittedly not much, there is no deformation anywhere. They seem to be of the same quality of an Arsenal for instance. I would also say the build quality is very high, for instance the windage on the front sight post was dead on out of the box. I will try to update on this post/thread if people are interested, but at this point I would bet that these parts are going to last.
Looks promising. Thanks for keeping us updated
I want one too. They are supposed to be super strong & rare. How’s the accuracy?
The rifle is very accurate. I dont have an MOA to give you, but it was grouping about as tight as my 74’s and 5.56 AKs upon zeroing. I plan on running it in competition when I get a chance.
Parts update:
About 700 rounds or so in and everything looks really good. The paint on the bolt is wearing off, as expected, but no deformation. The tail of the bolt carrier hasnt deformed at all, and I am using a G2 trigger. So far so good!
From the pics on Atlantic Firearms’s site the carrier and bolt look to be forged with the correct inspection stamps
If the bolt and carrier are properly forged , count me in ! …. might be better to wait and see what the long guns
look like , as the pistols may not be very practical for a SHTF gun .
Any upgrade would be welcome after owning that C39V2 turd that I got rid of !
Hey Dan the arsenal 107cr is back in stock. I own lots of ak rifles and its my favorite. Very light and still easy to hit steel out to at least 300 meters. The price tag hurts a little but I think its worth it.
What didn’t you like about the C39V2?
Bros, I just ordered one. Totally pumped! I dont have a platform to keep you updated on the quality but will do so through AKOU the best I can.
Looks like there is now a new WBP milled receiver rifle that takes standard furniture.
Yep, AF keeps rolling! lol!
I just seen classic firearms is carrying what they say is a all polish build AK that was made 922 compliant by james river. any word on the quality and accuracy of classics statement? Not that i don’t trust sweaty Ben, its that I don’t trust sweaty ben.
This is rebooted Pioneer Arms – watch our video on it (Pioneer Arms 2.0)
Hey Rob have seen the new James River Armory polish AK with a Radom receiver and barrel? At $499 I’m wondering if they would pass your 5000rd test. Thanks for all you do Rob.
can you review the mak 90??
They aren’t importing any new Mak rifles…they are collectibles now. Here is my opinion: get one while you can…and yes, their prices will continue to climb.
Hey Rob just ordered a Lynx from Atlantic and it should be at my FFL tomorrow. I want to do this up right and not have to go through a bunch of parts that do not work. So I have a few questions.
I have heard good and bad about the ALG trigger and was wondering what your thoughts on them were. As opposed to the Tapco for instance. I have heard people have had to modify the ALG to more like the Tapco. I even saw you had to mod the Tapco in one AK. Maybe you should do a video on these triggers and how to make all of them work.
I am going to install a US Machine gun universal adapter to mount a Shockwave brace. Not yet sure about a muzzle device, I’m thinking just a plain A2 flash hider or should I go with a Krink sort of device, Midwest industries makes a nice inexpensive can. My experience with a 10″ barrel in 762×39 is that an A2 works OK. The other type adds weight and length. The Midwest version is lightweight. Should I get the Krink style, CNC machine makes a good one that’s nickle plated inside. Only the real Krink is chrome plated.
Not sure on a rail or handguard yet. I see Magpul AKM handguards in OD Green are discontinued for some reason. So are the Midwest rails in FDE and ODG.
How are the Arsenal, Handguard with Stainless Steel Heat Shield I see Midway has in ODG? More money than the Magpul but they look good and much more authentic. Do they fit?
Last will be a RS Regulate red dot mount and a Holosun like the Eotech sights. I don’t like the weight and how they work on top of the piston tube.
Any input would be appreciated.
RS Regulate is better solution in my eyes then anything which would allow optic to be mounted up front – that’s my take on this.
I haven’t used Arsenal HG, but it looks like a decent product. I haven’t heard any complains about it at all…
Being of Polish Heritage and loving the AK47, I had to buy a Polish Lynx.
I Love it already!
I was shocked, to have gotten Serial Number 1, from Atlantic!
Wow. Win for serial number for sure. How is the quality of the gun?
Quality is Top Notch!
Just took it shooting, flawless and hitting the 200 yard steel plate, every shot, with iron sights.
Took it to my local gun shop, everyone was Impressed.
I know of 6 more that were ordered, after they saw mine!
The”LYNX” & the “HELL PUP” aren’t the same quality. The Truuion on the Hell Pup is cast & the Lynx”s is forged ,correct ?
It’s been clarified, that the Lynx has a Forged trunion, carrier and bolt!
Is the Hell Pup trunnion basically the same as a RAS-47 ? Just because it’s Polish shouldn’t make a difference if they were also putting out a compromised product .
Hey Rob, I called Classic about their JRA/Pioneer offering for $499 and asked about the spec on the front trunnion, after waiting a good 10 minutes for an answer they finally came back with, Forged. I wasn’t as concerned about the bolt carrier and bolt as I have a few sets from WBP in parts bins so, I didn’t ask. Would be a new low in the industry to deceive a customer with false information on something so critical, with a possibility of catastrophic failure. Have you or anyone else got any verification on this particular rifle? Seems JRA would be really sticking it’s neck out to literally put their seal of approval on the rifle otherwise.
Thanks
This is news to me man…Btw, I don’t see any confirmation on it…just saying.
Any more of these planned on being imported? Timeframe?
They are bringing them slowly. Keep an eye on Atlantic Firearms website.
