    Rob,

You’ve become my go-to for AK knowledge. I’m wondering if the VSKA will be able to accommodate the Zenit B30 and B31 without problems. I was disappointed to see no side mount rail on the VSKA. Right now I’m set on a WASR-10 for my first rifle because of how it withstood your torture test and its ability to be modified easily. What are your thoughts?

You would have to modify zenit rails heavily to make it fit

Junk pro magazine. The gas tube fitment to gas chamber/port, not so great alignment cut, common Century imperfection. They leave it, like that, on purpose.

Filled in rivets, that’s totally red-neck monkey rigged & cheap for sure. Integrity direction problem, with rifle. Made, by civilians. 1 question to CA, what is that supposed to be, the upgraded quality control one? It has the same basic flaws as their other ones. I’ll pass & still go Russian made because ‘not good enough.’ Plus, the AK is to defend Russia, ‘Obama’ banned Russia, then, he lost the Syrian War to Russia, along with Clinton & Trump. The actual CA model is full of it because Russia made the AK, during WWII times +/-. Stateside, the U.S doesn’t defend anything, with the AK – total misdirection. Russia made, during war; U.S makes for money.

Is there a way to fix the weak ejection on the vska? I had 2 malfunctions in 80 rounds.

I have removed extractor claw spring and stretch her out. That improved my extraction little bit. But if you having ejection problems, then it could be much more complicated…

Rob, Really enjoyed watching your AK rifles all your 5000 round torture tests of AK rifles. I just bought a VSKA and am waiting for delivery. I have had pretty good luck with Century over the years from a Cetme , C93, Sar-2, and a Polish Underfolder. All have functioned well and I experienced no issues with them. Only 1 I still own is the Sar-2. I am looking forward to doing my own assessment of the Century VSKA but will keep your insights in mind as I do.

Should I sell this VSKA before I dump 1000 rounds through it and buy a WASR or just roll with it ..?

Is it “aging well”? If it is, i would keep it at this point because you will get hammered on price to sell. Save money and buy wasr10.
