YouTube bullying and harassment of gun channels continues…

18/05/22 at 9.08am   /   by Rob Ski   /   15 Comments

Just chilling out before diving into swamps…swamp snakes, here we go!

When I was on US Army duty last week, humping hills and swimming in the swamps, YouTube crew strike down another AKOU video. This time it was AKOU classic: AK47 User Guide – Part 2 (link is to Full30 server so you can actually see it since YouTube disabled video).
Now this is pure example of YouTube employees ignorance, poor on job training and lack of understanding of their own rules and community guidance. Per YouTube’s own “Policies on content featuring firearms“:

“YouTube prohibits certain kinds of content featuring firearms. Specifically, we don’t allow content that:

YouTube Gun Policies

Intends to sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales (e.g., private sales by individuals) or links to sites that sell these items.

These accessories include but may not be limited to accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire or convert a firearm to automatic fire (e.g., bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, conversion kits), and high capacity magazines (i.e., magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds).

Provides instructions on manufacturing a firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazine, homemade silencers/suppressors, or certain firearms accessories such as those listed above. This also includes instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities.

Shows users how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.”

As you can see, none of those “Policies” were violated in videos which were strike down. In AK47 User Guide Part 2 video, I simply take a gun apart and explain to viewers what all those bolt components are and how to take them apart – this is not instruction on manufacturing firearm – this is instruction on regular field stripping of weapon…
In Romanian Paratrooper AK47 – 1080 Later video, I just take my rifle apart and inspect parts for any damages…which again, is not in violation of YouTube policies…
What is really troubling, is fact, that I have actually lost my appeal on it as well, which means someone from YouTube, had a second look and again, incorrectly concluded that my videos are indeed in violation of their rules…This tells me that YouTube employees lack of basic job training and don’t understand their own rules and policies since their interpretation is totally wrong.

Bottom line is, our AKOU channel , now is only one strike away from being completely erased, simply because YouTube employees have no clue about what they are “enforcing”…
