Superb video, very good information. That’s tough luck, I would have never expected for that to happen, so quickly. No AK from them, got it. I finished range training, with 1943 Russian Mosin-Nagant 91/30; now, back to AK-47. Thank’s again.

The carrier on this rifle looks like the one in the century arms Zastava n-pap that I got rid of. The edges were a bit more mushroomed looking and I only had about 300 rounds through it.
I won’t be buying one of these, and I certainly won’t waste any more money on anything from century arms.
    Don’t these companies employ metallurgists?

Wow ! …. I never would have guessed that this trick or treat AK came from Poland , obviously not a genuine Radom …. I only thought that I.O. AK’s acted like this . I never thought I would say this , but , the Century RAS 47 just
moved up a notch and is no longer at the bottom of the heap ! Can you imagine someone actually purchasing
one of these as a ” SHTF rifle ” ?? Looks like Robski saved another un-suspecting victim !!

Sounds like it’s fairly durable construction, but the furniture and trigger leave something to be desired. Could be a good buy. I recall similar warnings against Yugo AKs about 5 years back but no problems with mine. Maybe find one imported and those items replaced by a reputable company. Plus any A.K. is better than an AR if you add dirt.

Centerfire arms has these in kit builds now, they come with complete receiver as of 7/01/2019
I don’t know if they are old stocks kits from these rifles but they are $299.00 plus shipping.
Rob ski would it be worth it to buy and assemble for complete rifle, don’t want to spend more than $500 on rifle

    Thanks Matthew

ok Guys….I have learned the hard way….did not know about AKOU….and did not do my homework….and bought a Pioneer AK47 in April 2019…..only then did I discover AKOU and start watching and learning (Thank You Rob!!!)
Anyway….have not fired the Pioneer at all. Zero rounds thru it.I have done quite a bit of homework over summer, and have bite the bullet so to speak, and spent the $$$ for Arsenal SAM7-61 AK47. I plan on taking the Pioneer to a gunsmith and having all shit parts removed and replaced with forged internal parts. So I learned the hard way.
Very happy I already have my account at AKOU Store !!!

John, no, it’s there, it just takes time to vent out spam posts. Unfortunately, these days spam bots are polluting blogs with sex adds, pharmacy pills and etc. It’s unfortunate because it takes time to cleanup and holds up real posts from you guys…

My sincere appologies Rob. I did not consider the realities you must put up with. Again my apologies for thoughtless post.
Anyway, enough of the the bullshit talk!!….I took delivery of my new Arsenal SAM7-61 yesterday. Thank you for all your no B.S. Education on AK….I dont ever want no go gauge to win, so I spent the $$$ on Arsenal.
I wear my AKOU T Shirts here in Communist Kalifornia and get many dirty looks from people. I Love it !!!
Gotta go to AKOU store now, so bye bye for now. 🙂

To my best knowledge, all imported rifles were scrapped, torn apart and sold as piece meal parts kits.

I just purchased one of these pioneer Hellpup pistols before reading this sadly. Any chance it would be made differently now that io has stopped making aks?

I just received my pioneer arms AK pistol. Unfortunately I didn’t see the video prior. Just wondering if anyone has one? Once I got home to inspect the pistol closely I realized there’s a slight gap between the bolt carrier and trunnion when it’s in battery. I haven’t shot the pistol yet. I tried to compare the gap with a few other rifles that I own and none have that gap. The AMD 65 has a slight gap. Do you think this is something I need to contact pioneer arms and possibly send it back before I use it?

I bought one two days ago brand new “2020 mfg date Primary Arms Corp. Sporter
    Has misleading ” radom stamp”
Took it home and cleaned it had stuff from cardboard box.
It looks well made no machining marks and tooling marks all metal is nicely finished

Upon inspeciton started from front to back sights good
    Pins good sight is” cast”
    Gas block good
    Handguards sucky polymer
Everything lined up and trued including sights
The new bolt and carirer group isnt cast like the older models. The frunt trunion is still cast but finish looks different from previous years a nice clean finish and i think they changed style a little bit
all rivets are nice all mags worked bakeolite, pmag and steel.
Safety was a tad stiff. Trigger is really good
Stock is good rear trunion is also cast.

Head space and timing where good
Fired 600 rounds today no issue fed and ate everything.
Let rifle cool checked head space timing good. Took to
Gunsmith looked over and inspected rifle.
    Everything looking good.
    Took rifle home cleaned it.
    And ohmygod what the hell
Looks like it was never fired i mustve gotten lucky

Just saw that Classic firearms has a Pioneer Arms FosTecH Edition. They are saying that these are made better than the older models. Maybe you could check out the changes they talk about, get one and do a review? Just a thought.

Lifetime front trunnion warranty on them now,I understand that you were actually sent the wrong rifle that was supposed be shot with ammunition with a thicker headrim and the headspace was wrong. You shot it anyway.. Then posted this after knowing the fact…. It seems like a very damaging thing to do to a company. You’re misleading people by making them believe this.

Complete bullshit. Rifle was sold for US market with incorrect head space – whole batch of them…But, if you are happy with Pioneer Arms AK – more power to you. Your money and your choice.
Personally, I will never buy their rifle again.

Dig for it on AK Files. Everything was covered there. Enough said. I wish them good luck but neither I or Mishaco want to have anything to do with that company.
